The post is permanent and full-time, tenable from 1 April 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter, and will be offered in conjunction with a fellowship at St Edmund Hall. The post will be based at the Department of Education, Oxford.<br /><span></span><br /><span></span>The department is seeking candidates who have completed a social science doctorate in an area of study of relevance to the post. He or she will have a proven track record of social scientific research and high quality publications in the field of comparative and international&nbsp;education, broadly defined and including attention to globalisation and its effects, together with&nbsp;a strong portfolio of teaching experience in this area.
